Welcome to the 62nd Tea Time Tuesday
This Easter we spent the afternoon outdoors hunting eggs with our grandchildren. We decided to have a picnic with just finger foods.
As you will see why we there is no flatware used
We did have iced tea, as it was a hot afternoon.
My whole family was here,
it's been a while since we all had a gathering together as family.
My daughters, and grandchildren help take out the dishes and set the tables.
My grandmothers pink roses in the background are blooming a few weeks early this year
By the end of next week they should be in full bloom
Hoping I can do a tea, as I usually do each year
I want to thank my daughters, son-in-law, and my grandchildren
for setting up the tables, and for taking it all down for me.
I uploaded my photos a different way, since I got locked out of one of my accounts,
and this is the largest size of photos I could get them this week, so sorry.
My rabbit on the wagon is carrying egg cups, and dyed egg the grandchildren dyed.
My grandchildren also came up with the idea, and put them in the wagons.
Centerpiece: is my two rabbit wagons, and a bunch of star gazer lilies,
my daughter's friend brought her.
Arbor of roses in background
Place setting of my Rabbit Birthday dishes, from Cracker Barrel
charger from Walmart
goblets from thrift store with napkin inside
I just love my rabbit wagon from Cracker Barrel
My friend Lene, stopped by, we sat at the tea table, between the picnic, and the children's table
Yes, I still look pale, and I have on makeup! lol
My grandchildren set up their table, and had to have the tea cups they always drink out of.
They picked out what they wanted to use on the tables
My grandchildren placed eggs all around a tray,
I was really proud of them,
setting both tables
Thank you for joining me for Tea, I hope you all had a lovely Easter.
My daddy is back in the hospital, praying he will get better soon.
They are running test today on he's heart for blood colts, and for his pneumonia.
I had a bad fall this week, and pulled loose all my surgery.
I was trying to climb into the big pick up truck on a hill. I had my hands full, it was dark.
I slipped on the gravel as I tried to get up the hill into the truck.
Doc says it will be a few weeks set back.
I pull loose some the the surgery from my last years of surgery,
which has helped loose some scar tissue,
and all the incisions of the 200 hundred stitches I have now. I just have to inure the pain. lol
Thank you all for joining me for Tea and keeping me in your prayers.
Our store/cafe is coming together, and hope to open mid May if not before.
I have been going to the store every day, sleeping on the sofa,
and doing just a little to regain my strength. Lately I have mostly been sleeping. lol
Thank You for Joining me for Tea Time Tuesday

Hello Katherine,
Your family did a good job setting table for you - a very lovely, festive Easter table. Love eating outdoors especially with family. Sorry to hear about your dad and your recent fall - I hope you're doing better today - I know it is difficult to give yourself time to heal - but, please do! We women always have things on our minds to do!
